Today I enjoyed one of the province of Utrecht walking paths. A truly magnificent piece of the Netherlands in Scherpenzeel Dashorsterpad.
Although most tourists might think of the Netherlands primarily in terms of Utrecht, Amsterdam and other cities, in fact it has some lovely countryside. The cities might be up there with that famous casino hub Las Vegas for night life, but don't forget the countryside which inspired the painters of the Dutch Golden Age. More tourists from all over the world will flock to the country to experience the pastures, canals and windmills. Netherlands fame stands to grow even more with the creation of klompenpaden. These walking tracks take you right through the essence of the dutch countryside. For example the Dashorsterpad near Scherpenzeel, this 12 km long track take the tourist through the pastures and along the canals of the Dutch countryside
