When you are a Lightroom user and have a Photoshelter account for your photography business, life became so much easier since the lightroom export plugin turned into a publish service. But what if you have uploaded some or even thousands photos before you started using the export plugin, then you have many images on Photoshelter that are not linked to the originals in your Lightroom catalog. There is a way to solve this.

I noticed a lot of confusion on how Adobe Lightroom handles keywords. People feel they keyworded in lightroom but after uploading their photos to a website the keywords are missing.

Here are a few possible reasons on why

One of the cool new features of Photoshelter are the options to embed or link photos from your archive into your website.

The option is available for every public searchable photo in your archive, or any photo in a publicly visible gallery. Just open the photo in your photoshelter account and select the 'get link' option.

Basically three options are provide:

• embedded
• image link
• page link
