Photoshelter image links

One of the cool new features of Photoshelter are the options to embed or link photos from your archive into your website.

The option is available for every public searchable photo in your archive, or any photo in a publicly visible gallery. Just open the photo in your photoshelter account and select the 'get link' option.

Basically three options are provide:

  • embedded
  • image link
  • page link

 embedded

The embedded option uses a flash option, allowing also the image to be shown in different sizes

 

 

image link

 The image link is the good old html image link. It simply loads the photo from the photoshelter site.

 page link

The page link option does not really insert a photo in your website, it just provides the url you can use to link to your photo. Simply put it in a html link and allow your visitors to open the photoshelter image page and order the photo directly.

You can also combine the image link and the page link to create clickable images.
