Before you can use the plugin you need to enter your Photoshelter login details. You do this by opening the export dialog (CTRL+SHIFT+E ).

  1. select the photoshelter export plugin
  2. enter your photoshelter login details
  3. select the archive folder to upload to
  4. mark uploaded photos as tagged or searchable. You can also include your lightroom rating

By default the standard export service of Lightroom is selected. You need to switch to the photoshelter export plugin to use it. You do this in the drop down box (1) at the top of the dialog.

When export to Photoshelter is selected you will see the Photoshelter account section (2), you can enter your account information here and press the "Login" button to validate your account. If you entered a valid account, the plugin will store the account information.

When you entered a valid account the export button at the bottom of the dialog will be enabled. You are now ready to upload your images to Photoshelter.

In the "album selection" section (3) of the dialog you can select the archive folder to upload to. It also includes the option to create a new archive folder on Photoshelter. It is also possible to set the Tagged and Searchable options (4) directly for the uploaded images. So there is no longer a need to go to your Photoshelter Archive and make the uploaded images publicly searchable. Simply do it directly with the upload.

The remaining sections in the export dialog are the normal lightroom export sections.
