x

To install the plugin in Lightroom download the photoshelter export plugin first.

Before installation

Before you install a new version of the plugin remove the currently installed version from lightroom.

manual installation

Within the package is a single folder with the suffix .lrplugin Lightroom recognizes a plugin if it is in a single folder with this suffix.
NOTE: In Mac OS, the suffix .lrplugin creates a package, which looks like a single file.

A plug-in folder can reside in any location on your hard drive. You can load the plug-in using the Add button in the Plug-in Manager (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+,). Once it is added, you can enable or disable it through the dialog, or unload it using the Remove button.

  1. Use these buttons to add and remove plugins. If you didn't store the plugin in an automatic loaded folder, you need to use the Add button to install the plugin
  2. When the plugin is correctly loaded and enabled, it is shown in this location
  3. To enable/disable the plugin without removing it
  4. If you experience problems with the plugin, you can enable the logging option. When enable the plugin will create a file called pactphotoshelter.txt in your home folder.

Automatic plug-in loading

Lightroom automatically checks for plug-ins in the standard Modules folder where other Lightroom settings are stored:

Plug-ins that are installed in this location are automatically listed in the Plug-in Manager dialog. You can use the dialog to enable or disable such a plug-in, but not to remove it. The Remove button is dimmed when such a plug-in is selected.
